Aviation Background: In 1996 my wife gave me a surprise birthday present: a glider ride. I don't think she anticipated the consequences. After a couple of years of cross-country trips around the Northeast and Canada in rented nosedraggers, I came across an opportunity to acquire a recently completed G202, and have been working up the categories since.

Interesting Facts: During my first air show (the 2003 Coffeen Air Show in Seguin, Texas), my smoke system sprang a leak and began squirting smoke oil in my face. Pull, squirt! Pull, squirt! I landed with the entire inside of the canopy coated in smoke oil and my flight suite dripping. Spanky and the rest of the gang from the show have started calling me "Corvis".
